Neuropathy symptoms and signs can vary in how they begin. For some people, neuropathy happens suddenly; others evolve slowly over many years. Symptoms vary, depending on which types of nerves are affected, and may include:
- Numbness in Feet
- Burning pain in feet
- Leg cramping
- Sharp electrical-like pain
- Pain when you walk
- Difficulty sleeping from leg & foot discomfort
- Prickling of tingling feeling in feet
- Extreme sensitivity to touch, even light touch
- Lack of coordination
- Muscle weakness or paralysis if motor nerves are affected
- Restless leg Syndrome. This can be caused by peripheral neuropathy.
